The Company that you seek is "SILEX" trading on the pink sheets here in the USA. I bought this stock four years ago on the same "hype", held it for three years. It went from $5.00 to $7.00, back and forth, back and forth. I finally sold it at a loss of $1.00, two years ago. They have partnered with GE, (The monster company), and now have a research facility in Maryland, I believe. They were originally an Australian Company

I don't know about this one in particular, but Stansberry has a number of services, etc. that provide you with a list of companies whose dividends are paid such that you will get a dividend from some company every month. Not such a great idea, if the stocks don't do all that well— although we know, well enough, that dividend paying stocks are generally not the bottom of the barrel (unless those dividends are likely to be cut). What is GM preferred paying these days?

I was looking for a website-preferably free or cheap- that sorts dividend paying stocks by ex- date. I know of 1-ex-dividend-and it isn't unreasonable but I was hoping there was a service on some financial page, that listed stocks going ex- in the next month. Thanks,

I READ THRU A SIMILIAR TEASER ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO IF ITS THE SAME IDEA. Since corporations report to Govt. agencies, the govt publishes a list of stocks based on the info sent in from the discloures. Some of these stocks have risen 2 to 300% after the report is released. Its hard to tell what % of stocks rose and how many didnt and I didnt pay much attention to it. The mere fact that some of the stocks went up from a list is not that compelling witout analyzing the stock fundamentals, and I would rather not rely on an on line ad unless I can sift thru the info.
