Another Contest … Another Gumshoe Vacation

Greetings once again to the finest readers in investing webdom … the Gumshoe will probably not be posting any new sleuth jobs next week, but the work of teaser sleuthing must go on!
As must the work of finding and sharing new investment ideas, and criticizing or applauding investing newsletters.
So while I’m gone, get yourself on over to the Gumshoe Forum and participate … or at least read the great postings by your fellow investors. We have so far managed to avoid becoming contaminated with the pumping, screaming, flaming and insulting behavior that mars nearly every web discussion board, which makes me happy.
And forum participants have sniffed out some great investing ideas … and poked important holes in others … and that makes me even happier!
To sweeten the pot a little, I’m offering some prize money for the best contributions made over at the forum in the week that I’m gone. I’m happy to give prizes to seasoned posters or first-timers, so I hope that many of you who have not yet participated in the forums will jump on board.
Registering, if you have not yet done so, is anonymous and instant (though you’ll have to give me an email address if you win, to get your prize money), and there are a few posts at the top that tell you how to participate. Click here to create your forum account if you haven’t already done so.
Thanks again for joining me in this excellent community of investors and stock researchers — I love all the submissions, opinions, ideas and perspectives I’ve seen in the past few months.
