I must admit I had never heard of this Saint burying business before reading your comments -- wonder if we'll be seeing more of it with prices dropping so much? And I'll definitely stick with St. Joseph if I feel the need to sell the house, my own dogs dig too many holes in the yard as it is.

So why do you bury him upside down? Is that the standard practice, or is it just more effective than burying him right side up? Fascinating.

If you bury St. Francis upside down, the animals in your neighborhood come at night and dig terribly big holes all over your yard. They remember his kindness to them and rush to him in his time of distress.

P.S. on the last comment..it is St Joseph that you bury, I don't know what could happen if you bury St Francis but I wouldn't take the chance.

Real Estate is in the tank, and I know because as a Real Estate broker I am in the tank too. But if you look at the houses that actually are selling you will see that solar powered homes have a higher percentage of sales. So if you can't sell your home put some solar panels up, decorate with Feng Shui, and bury a statue of St Francis upside down.
