One more thing I would like to say. When I subscribed to Commonwealth Shares I got a personal letterthat was very nice with the explanation. However, I did the Reagan/Hatcher research myself. That is something everyone should do before they invest in any stock. Research....

I believe I was the first to ask Stansberry about commonwealth shares. They explained this very clearly. British were in great trouble and Pres. Ronald Rweagan and Margret Hatcher met together to see how the USA could help them out. As a result Americans were given the right to invest in commonwealth shares. At that time The British government owned everything such as utility co.s, airports, etc. This was when the British Empire included Hong Kong, , many islands like Australia which is still paart of the commonwealth. When the lease expired for the British to rule Hong Kong was up the commonwealth gave up many other of their posessions. However Singapore and one other similar city were highly recommended as I was told "to buy and hold forever" exact words that were used in my e-mails. Singapore owns utilities, etc. in many small countries therefore was recommended as being the est of the two companies to buy. You can still purchase commonwealth shares. The British Commonwealth is still very large. This right was given to citizens of the USA as part of the Reagan/Hatcher agreement. Today the British government sold off most of the companies that they owned. US citizens were given the right to purchase shares of these companies just like the British could. This helped the British recover from a bad situation. Everywhere Queen Elizabeth visits is part of the British Commonwealth. Canada, British Colombia and many other places. Now, Stansberry evidentually did not know anything else except Singapore. After about two months they simply changed the name of their publication to The Oil Report or something similar. So they made a quick exit on commonwealth shares and provided their readers with a subject they knew more about and one that would please their readers. I did not know I got so many people agravated with Standsberry just by subscribing to Commonwealth Shares. The Oil Report is good reading. Now, my question is this. Where did the lawsuite come from? After knowing more of the facts do you still think Stansberry needed their hands slapped by angry subscribers? Has anyone sued Stansberry over all of this besides the SEC? Now do you think everyone is ready to jump off a bridge? You are right about one thing, they should have reasearched the subject more before they put it on their site to purchase subscriptions. However, after I did some research on the subject and found out what CanRoys were I felt like I had benefited from what I learned and came out owning some good commonwealth shares. No, I never did take their advice about purchasing Singapore Shares but made other great buys. I do not want to own a stock forever. Now that you know a little bit of the background of Commonwealth Shares and how and why they came to be it should make you feel a lot better. It was a reward for Americans that helped Great Britian get themselves out of a jam. Now all we need is for someone to get the USA out of a jam. Remember, it always pays to do some research before you purchase any kind of shares. Never take someone's word for something you nor they know much about the subject they are about to sell. Pres. Reagan and Margret Thatcher were excellent leaders. Again, I hope this is helpful. I just happened to run across these articles and thought you might like to know a little more before you jumped off a bridge. Jay
