Great site. I've owned Posco for years (long before the Berkshire news), and have no plans in selling anytime soon. For myself, I've found that trading in and out of stocks based on short term fundamentals shaves profits (partly due to taxes). So I just like to buy the quality, undervalued, boring companies, and sock 'em away for eternity. Poscoe isn't going anywhere, and as long as they continue to invest in cutting edge refining capabilities in low cost regulatory environs (read, India), I'll continue to hold. They are priced a little high now (PEG of 1.5 by my latest calculation), which only means I will wait to buy more or initiate a new position...<br/>Dr S

Investing in a company hoping that a SWF will try to buy it out seems a tad like gambling to me. The recent investments made by the SWF in finacial sector companies haven't done much in the short term for thier share prices.
