Well yet another fool newsletter hit my box today. I swear I've seen this one once before when gas was at $3.5. With oil hitting $100 this letter is "oil's hidden millionaires" and part of the Hidden Gem's line. I wait with baited breadth to see what you come up with on this one.

Mexican food is probably an acquired taste for most North Americans and may never reach the popularity of hamburgers or chicken. I, for one, would not particularly want to eat there and, following Lynch's axiom, aren't going to buy their stock.

Gumshoe,,,,I was worried about you when you began to "pore" over the Motley Fools writing, (as you said, they can make you sweat! I hada visual of you reading over 11 pages, dripping salsa on your computer screen!),,,,

So now we have to analyze this wonder stock....Let me remind everyone that the mothership for CMG is none other than MCD,,,,and they just posted a meaningful quarter, only to be taken out back to be smacked like a pinata! That will teach em to serve Starbucks!
(for those of you who are not from Seattle, Starbucks owns Seattle's Best Coffee, served at McDonald's,,,,just in case you thought that there was no love between the two giants of Coffee!).

Enter this trade of CMG at your own risk. I prefer YUM,,,,,and so do the Chinese! Gooooo HSU and all the other Yummy followers! Olympics here we come, (and none too soon, as investors!).

I think that's a pretty crowded trade at the moment, from all the folks I've heard mention the idea. My suspicion is that it will eventually work, but I have no idea when. Although it's a richly valued stock and undoubtedly has many shorts for that reason, I would guess that a fair portion of the short interest in the stock is involved with just that pair trade you suggest.
