Thanks for the great read StockGumshoe.
Really do like SDA for Brazil food/AG stock. Very little down side and it's the kind of value to hold for the long term.

Thinking again Mark S. would at least have said to have a 25% stop-loss on his recent recommended for ETFC. March 3rd e-mail says ETFC still holds value, but when do you stop the bleeding? I didn't jump in and buy this low priced stock initially, but it may turn around....in time. What say you StockGumshoe?

Thanks for the welcome reminder, Sandman -- these guys sound suspiciously similar to the Doubling Stocks folks, including the $47 price. And yes, as I hope is clear to folks, the ads on this site are paid placements, mostly from Google, and they are not vetted for accuracy and are definitely not specifically endorsed by the Gumshoe. I have blocked DoublingStocks since they were so clearly a scam, but I can't claim to watch them all and block all the unsavory ones (and I've seen DoublingStocks sneak in under different names/URLs, so the process is far from perfect).

GUMSHOE READERS ARE TOO SMART TO NEED THIS, BUT "CAUTION" - the advertisements our good gumshoe has appearing in the middle of these valuable pages are NOT produced by the Gumshoe, but are randomly inserted by Google based on their relevance to the subject of this site - i.e. paid ads looking for investors to click 'em.
I only thought I would point this out due to the hilarious Ad that was up today...for an outfit called "PromoStockPicks.com"
It is like a tongue-in-cheek con posing as a legitimate marketing campaign. I read with incredulity the claims that a million-dollar-fee third-party "Promoter" would actually release the ticker symbol of their contracted companies to a Premium list...for only $47...prior to each promotion? Hilarious.
Even the huge Disclaimer gives it away - see the "Information Warning" section for a good chuckle or two. The star of the show, "founder" Jason Fuller, is revealed as "apocryphal." i.e. he is not real. They are making the whole thing up! Their "picks" - which shouldn't exist, since they claim to not be making any "picks" but rather are supposedly getting paid to "promote" - are then revealed to be potentially released due to a company paying them to release that symbol to the spamasses.
Brilliant - I only wish I had thought of such an intentional, blatant, scam, just for the fun of it!
Imagine getting random lemmings to actually PAY you to send them SPAM that you are getting paid by the target company to send out!
Even the testimonials are admitted to have been invented (search for the word "faux" ;).
Hahaha....
Anyway, just thought you all would get a kick out of that, before Google changes the ad to some other less-funny investor`s newsletter.

As always, great article.

My big concern with meat processing outside this country (and inside frankly) is testing and control of food borne illnesses. All it takes is one outbreak to bankrupt a company.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has done research on food inspection and control regulations for this industry in Brazil.
