Fleet Street Letter is no better or worse than American counterparts and will of course boast of incredible gains in some recommendations and being less than honest on losses. I let my subscription laps years ago following many losses based on their research. A complaint about buying/selling foreign stocks is that such as Schwab charge at least $100 for any instructions to buy or sell foreign stocks and 'foreign' includes those Canadien stocks not on the bourses or pink sheets. So $200 in and out is questionable in my view!! A quickie on the predictions of a falling pound is in my opinion flak as it will not happen until the US make a stand on inflation and increase the bank rate. The UK will not reduce the bank rate as inflation has always taken precedence over jobs, housing and a falling market. Sorry this has turned into a book so just look out for the film!!
