Geewhizz, "slam608"...'You been thinking it over for a year????
(What's this New Jersey, community property state question about?
Whoever you are "Google-it"....That's why God made the Internet...Al Gore just thinks....
Never mind...).

I really do think wave and river action et al, is a fascinating
area for important energy developement...I like OPTT...
But after a year, I still can't see the profitability...I think the only real funding is going to come from Gov't, or big corporations (GE types)....
I hope it's not a "Lost in the bottom-line" industry.

OPTT is a stock I'm watching it definitely has a future,it's buoys might be more acceptable to the elite "greenies" in places like Hyanis Port than off-shore wind farms.

Marine Energy (A pretty good name for it)

Marine energy is so doable and smart...You
wonder why it's so tough to get it off the dime.
There are a surprising number of various working
facillities scattered around the globe...The most
successful are funded by major corporations, and
so dissapear into their bottom line...The others are under-funded, or in long-term testing.
I can think of four or five, totally different
means of generating power...Tide-action;Wave-
action; Ocean-current-action; And my favorite...
River-action (This could make electric turbine power- generating dams, totally obsolete.
Probably, the best way to invest...Other than (OPTT), is just buy a good alternative energy ETF,
and let them pick the most likely companies...
