Each State has an oil & gas commission or resource management division that handles O/G drilling on all lands public and private. They also list producing and non producing wells and historical data, as well as the operator. Thats the way I check, and that data is available on-line. Some states have better data than others. Plus, its quick and dirty.

Thanks for the wonderful site Gumshoe. I have become a daily reader.
On the topic of SEC filings, 3160 forms, S-1 filings and more "magic bullets", all can be found for free with a bit of digging at the free SEC site. I have included the main link and another link displaying one type of search mechanism that can be utilized.

Not sure about this stock. The sentiment on message boards is not very good. It seems to be poor management. I think you're better off looking at SCU and KOG for an O&G play.

No worries, Mikey. I honestly appreciate all the comments, especially those that point out errors I've made or give a contrary perspective. I don't much like personal insults or silly bulletin board behavior or posturing, but that's not what you did. Thanks again.
