Some folks seem to think that their stand-alone solar powered water pumps will be great for agricultural users, but I haven't looked at the company at all since I first wrote it up, don't know how they're doing. BCTE was touted by two newsletters in a relatively short time period, last Spring and Summer if I remember correctly -- it did get a bit of a recovery last fall, but never got near to positive on those teaser touts since they teased it at a much higher price ... and since last fall, it's been down down down again. Fascinating product and tied to some degree to the hot natural gas market in coal bed methane, but I have no idea whether it will ever catch on. I've been writing in this space for about 15 months now ... time flies when you're having fun!
