Well, I had a large irritation in my personal portfolio today — a margin call because my broker messed up some options transactions, but there’s no reason for you to care about that. What you might care about is that I promised to let you know what happens in my portfolio … so today, I did the following, against my will:

Sold half of my positions in Google, Winthrop Realty Trust

Sold my entire positions in Marvel, Raymond James Financial, and Focus Media.

Arg. I had been considering stopping myself out of Focus Media, but I think it was the wrong time to sell any of the others. That said, given market conditions I won’t necessarily re-buy all of those shares in one fell swoop over the coming week — though I will certainly look to get back into Marvel (I continue to hold call options on Marvel as well).

So … don’t know why it would do you any good, but there you have it — I no longer own MVL, FOCM or RJF, and I own less of GOOG and FUR than I did yesterday.
