Unfortunately, the stock has passed into a confirmed downtrend and gave a pretty strong sell signal at the same time. Perhaps some puts on a pull back? The only good news technically is it hasn’t far to fall until it is “oversold”.

This comment has nothing to do with Seadrill. Have you seen today’s green chip stock tease about energy from the oceans? Their movements create power that can be harnessed. Apparently, there is a company that is doing that. What company is that?

How come when I look at the Seadrill charts it says 28.00 on the pink sheets and when I look at the Oslo listing it says 142.75 but when I do the currency conversion $28 US equals only 131 Danish Krone?

Just FYI, there was an interesting little writeup on Seadrill earlier this week from a SeekingAlpha author — he calls it unknown, which is true for US investors but certainly not for Europeans, and it is of course quite new. Just thought you might like to see the article:

The older articles under that ticker, by the way, are almost all quite old ones that I contributed back when I was active on Seeking Alpha, if you’d care to see the development of my thinking about this stock — I think I first wrote about it back in the Spring of 2006 when I entered my first position, then updated a few times as I added on at lower prices (then as now, I’m not known for picking great short term buying points, it fell for several months from that $17 price I initially paid, though of course it’s much higher now).
