    thanks Gumshoe.
it eems to me that CLEAR ENERGY FUELS, T, Boon’s future net work for ng filling stations, is the
picks and shovels of this business. wouldn’t it be better to invest in that ,
since it’s an infrastructure that would serve whoever wins the race, including hidro?

Just listened to 20 seconds of “The Backbone of this Country is the Independent Truck.” . I gotta say – your three toddlers are going to need help after this one. And the name of the album? Have you tried Hanna Montana?

    Gumshoe,

I like your analysis. I also like Westport’s business plan of working with established engine manufacturers and distribution companies. It may give somewhat less control over expansion but it takes out a lot of the risk of building and paying for expensive infrastructure. By the way, for those who don’t like “The Backbone….” by Big Black, there’s always the more mellow “Truckin”, by the Dead……..

WPRT 2 for 5 in the unfavored Autos & Parts sector. This would be swimming upstream for now. I see two action points on this one: Double top at $15.00 is the first overhead resistance. If it can break through on volume, it could test the June highs at $19 and would be a nice trade. The second is the trendline at $10.00. Breaking that sends this one down to $5.50. The top autos & Parts stocks are: ARM, AAP, HMC, AZO & LKQX. Worst, if you want a pairs trade are: GM, F, TTM, DAI, & ALV.

Westport sounds good….Diesel engines are superb for clean efficient propulsion….
Mercedes has an engine capable of 50MPG…Corning has built a tailpipe filter that virtually
eliminates pollutants, as well as co2.
The newest issue of the Economist, has BMW working on a “thermoelectric ” generator driven by the automobiles heat exhaust, which can power 150watts of electrical power on the automobile, at 80MPH.
It’s presently short the 600-700watts of electrical power needed by an automobile…The possibilitiesf of diesel extend to powering aircraft…. The Set. 6th-12th issue is a must read for those who feel diesel
propulsion is a sensible answer to fuel efficiency, and clean air…And it’s here now…Not on some
20 years in the future drawing board……
Folks in my neck of the woods, have been running their pickup trucks on compressed propane (Just
exactly like your gas BBQ grill), for 40 years or more….At higher altitudes, where propane can’t deliver
the power…You just switch over to gasoline…..
If I wanted to guess…I’d say the best fuel niches to be in for large profits in the future, would relate
    to: Diesel engines; CNG (Compressed natural gas fuels); And “High capacitor lithium batteries;
And Van Ecks Nantechnology Sector CTF, couldn’t hurt , for long term hold…
