IGT is another basket case. One out of 5 technicals positive:

You do not have to be a P&F expert to tell supply is in control, Wheel of Fortune, or not. Is this a bottom? Time will tell. In the meantime, cash is king.

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2008/aug/18/no-more-wheel-ing-2-harrahs-properties-strip/

Harrah's is removing the Wheel of Fortune game. The Las Vegas Review Journal printed a story in the Sunday edition about this action as well. It seems that there is some concern that other properties will be removing these games because of the leasing fees paid to IGT. If more properties remove these games IGT will become a bit more "beaten down."

Thanks much for your educational commentary.

Well put, Hans -- technically that "market commissions" one is from Stansbery & Associates, which claims editorial independence from Agora, but Agora does still own a piece of them (and is also behind Rahemtulla's newsletter that was the original inspiration for this article). "Ridiculous" is certainly a fair appellation for the marketing efforts of either, or of many others too numerous to name.

Which is, of course, delightful for me. Gotta feed the Gumshoe's hunger for marketing hype! I can see, however, how some others might have less love for the copywriter's/hypester's craft.
