Harrah’s is removing the Wheel of Fortune game. The Las Vegas Review Journal printed a story in the Sunday edition about this action as well. It seems that there is some concern that other properties will be removing these games because of the leasing fees paid to IGT. "Ridiculous" is certainly a fair appellation for the marketing efforts of either, or of many others too numerous to name. Which is, of course, delightful for me. Gotta feed the Gumshoe's hunger for marketing hype! I can see, however, how some others might have less love for the copywriter's/hypester's craft.
