Of course, that final application is the last step in a process that can take 15 years and weed out 80-90% of drugs (or far more than 99%, if you count the compounds that never even get to clinical trials), so lots of them fail a long time before that, well before they're submitted for marketing approval. Less than 1% of drugs submitted get approval every year. This one looks like a 51/49% chance in favor based upon all of my research. The drawback is that the phase 3 trial was only around 12weeks of testing. The FDA may request results from a longer trial period before rendering a decision. It takes 18-24 months to get an FDA approved drug to market. I made 1843 in profit this week buying and selling 2600 shares. I sold all today at closing.
