    Dear Travis;

    Another similar play is Keystone North America. I prefer this as it is a canadian company and one gets the “safety” play of USD devaluation.

    KNA.TO – (KNAIF pinksheets) 4.49 paying .07/share/mo.

    Keep up the great work!

    Hey Travis,

    You REALLY should spend more time in the Gumshoe forum. Although the idea wasn’t original with me, this is what I said about STON in mid-March:

    “I’d buy it between 10.50-11.50, but sell it on a close below 9.00. Earnings are due out 3/16/09 (heck, that’s today). You may want to wait, as there are no options available for this one to protect against earnings suprises.

    Actually, STON is in keeping with the dark humor of the day. In the ‘business products’ sector, they sell burial plots, mausoleums, crypts, cremation niches and provide “perpetual” care. How’s that for long term prospects?

    With the baby boomers in definite need of these services on a go-forward basis and a political/economic system bound to hasten them upon their way, this business could be the next real estate ‘bubble’…….and with a 17% yield you might as well get a return on the ‘rent’ you’ll inevitably be paying for all of that ‘perpetual’ care and maintenance.”

    Although most things have gone up since then, the stock is up over 50% and that yield makes waiting for the Grim Reaper fine and dandy…………lol.
