I like your thinking on New Flyer Industries, Travis. As fuel prices increase, hybrid buses make a lot of economic sense. Unlike the internal combustion engine, those powerful electric motors are very, very efficient in low speed, high torque situations, i.e. getting the bus launched from a stop. And if the country is really serious about lowering our carbon dioxide emissions, a switch over to hybridized buses will definitely help. Thanks for the well written article.

Thanks for this analysis. I was about to make a purchase in my TradeKing account. With TK, I could only buy the Pink Sheet NFYIF. When I was about to confirm the order, I saw a notice that this trade would be subject to a $75 foreign settlement fee on top of the $5 comm. Even with the good yield, I decided to pause and think further.

Wondering whether all of the online brokers have this? I get a lot of energy related tips that seem to all come from the Toronto exchange. Perhaps a new broker is warranted.

If you bought New Flyer, I was wondering how you bought and the fees associated.

Have you looked into the Cabot Benjamin Graham sales pitches and identified the stocks?
