BBC was formerly an Chinese SOE. In 2006 Telvent purchased 80% of the company. Telvent is also has installed and controls the traffic management system in more than 20 Chinese cities. It, along with it's partner Beijing Blue Coat manages seaport and airport security in China. Telvent is also a huge player in "smart grid" on a world wide basis. They meter Chinese natural gas pipelines. Again Telvent is involved thru out Asia, Africa, Latin America, North America and Europe. I'm willing to bet they end up a a partner in this undertaking, Hsu's opinion not withstanding. Telvent, not China Transinfo, is th WORLD LEADER in the field.
