I noted when I stopped out of part of my Xerox position a while back that I planned to hold the balance for a while to see how the market might reconsider what I still think is a too-low valuation on the shares.
But I changed my mind. I’m closing out my Xerox position at a loss now, with what seem to me to be strong opportunities calling to me in other areas. There aren’t many stocks that are much cheaper than Xerox, and I may still be wrong if the market does wake up to this and see growth in XRX’s services division as a future driver, but there are also a lot of almost-as-cheap stocks that are performing far better. I’m going to move this Xerox money into those stocks as opportunities present themselves.
