I bet we’ll be hearing teasers for Applied DNA Sciences (APDN) soon. APDN makes markers based on sequences of botanical DNA that as far as I understand are completely un-copyable. The technology is good enough that the DOD has mandated chip makers use APDN”s technology (http://www.circuitsassembly.com/cms/news/13220-us-defense-dept-using-dna-to-combat-counterfeits-[1]).

The stock is up about 100% over the last two days (at 11 cents) but given this endorsement it’s not hard to imagine even more lucrative endeavors. They already work with Gibson Guitars marking instruments and strings and also have DNA-tracer cash dyes among other products. Take a look: (http://www.adnas.com[2])
