any ideas what is going on with Lonr.l in London again? Last couples of weeks nothinh but down…recently bought some more at 9 pence, but wish i had waited a bit…

Nothing in particular that I’m aware of. As an emerging market play they sometimes get a fever when Europe catches a cold, so sometimes it moves just on sentiment — not that there isn’t real operational risk with the company too, but they haven’t released new numbers or anything. There was a mildly negative commentary in the FT last month, basically a “put up or shut up” piece, but nothing new there, either, just the reassertion that Lonrho has said they’re getting to the end of their investment phase and will start to pay a dividend at some point and the skeptical response that they’d better do it soon.
