I subscribe to Stock Gumshoe for financial advice, not to be exposed
to political rants against our President. I am not interested in your political opinion. Should you continue to publish this crap, you can count me out.

I enjoy Stock Gumshoe and liked the article by Porter Stansberry about the president. Why are some people so sensitive about any criticism whatsoever of this president ? Ironically, these are the same people that were verbally brutal to President Bush for 8 years.
Not From The Bronx !
Is someone forcing you to read it?
Who said anything about not enjoying Stock Gumshoe? I just do not think political rants from either party has a place in Stock Gumshoe. I could tell you were not from the Bronx when you wrongly assumed I was one of those who “…verbally abused President Bush for 8 years.”
From The Bronx
I agree here. Personally, I don’t give a toss about any american presidents ( I live in Thailand) and have got thoroughly sick of another advisory website that charges me for the annoyance of reading a political harangue from argentina every week (thinkolator?)
Focus on companies, and government policies that affect companies and earning. There is enough bull about presidents out there
Assuming that we are here to make money, it is in our interest to listen objectively to criticism of whomever, including and especially the president, given his ability to dramatically influence the productivity of our investments, and of our tax rates. Going back a number of years, people dubbed Ronald Reagan the “teflon president” because nothing bad stuck to him. Those folks must be rolling in their graves considering how Obama is protected from any stigma whatever, despite his incredibly bad record as president, by any measure. I appreciate the contrast to the way people criticized George W. Bush, then praised Obama for outdoing Bush on those very same items. And remember, Obama had such an aura around him that he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize, not for what he had done, but for what he was going to do. How real is that?
I enjoy Porter’s comments and opinions. If you don’t like his comments and observations don’t read them you moron! That is why I know I can always make money, because there are so many idiots out there like you!
Chadwick: As soon as you call somebody you disagree with a moron and idiot, you lose
the argument. Is that the same Porter who was convicted of fraud?
From The Bronx
Really nice to see all the poetic finger pointing, opinions are just that everybody has one or two or three etc. I think the Gumshoe was just putting the cards on the table you don’t have to play them nor do I think your idle threat of cancelling what you are not forced to buy or use is going to break anybody but your own stigma which does not sound very optimistic but more like a negative insecurity of what ever is above your shoulders you judge things with. There is a cure for all simply look in the mirror, don’t blame the thinkolater or Travis/ Gumshoe, if it will make you feel better blame me, I like taking a negative and turning it into a positive which you have the option to play calls or puts and make sure you watch the State of the Union Address Tuesday. I do not mind the Bronx opinion I think they have and support there fair share of illegal aliens. To not know about politics is fine but they kind of help decide your taxes etc. and if it a Dictator or Democratic society I would think you could gain some insight from not sticking your above the shoulders in the ground. Travis you have my e-mail if you need me to help if that subscription scaring person cancels let me know I am sure I can let some more people about what you do and your straight up approach to replace any losses, but who knows he could have had a bad day and will come back happy tomorrow. Keep up the good info!
On the contrary, I enjoy stock gumshoe more than any other along with from motley fool. There are many arenas for enlightened political comment (I am told Fox is strong there) I am happy that presidents decide your taxes, and equally happy that they do not decide mine.
Cathy: Isn’t a “negative insecurity” a positive? I get my political news from the Nation, Newsmax, National Review, etc., not from stock newsletters. Do you go to a Pizza parlor to order hot dogs?
John: I agree with you that “…it is in our interest to listen objectively to criticism…,” but Porter’s criticism was not objective. It was a rant about Our President going for a 3rd term. Apparently Porter is not familiar with the 22 Amendment to the Constitution.
From The Bronx
Based on past actions, this president is aware of the Constitution but he does not feel that he is in anyway bound by it. Why do you think he has made all those executive orders ? This government feels it can decide who is the winner and loser in the free market through its legislation and funding companies with our tax dollars. Anyone who feels politics and investing are not related are not seeing things clearly.
Bill: Some of what you say makes sense, but to imply that our president has acted in an unconstitutional manner is ridiculous. If he did so, he would soon be impeached by those in Congress who are having a hard time accepting the election results. Again, I am surprised that most of the folks replying to my original email have no problem with
Stock Gumshoe accepting advertisements from a man (i.e., Porter Stansberry) who was convicted of stock fraud.

willaim vogt:
it is not going to break anyone’s heart to ‘count youout’, just so you know.
Gayle: What is a “youout?” I am surprised that nobody seems to object to running
an advertisement by a man (i.e., Standberry) who was convicted of stock fraud.
