I bought the stock and warrants in April 2011 and it has done quite well, thanks to you, Travis. The warrants have a 127% gain as of Thursday. I am planning on holding the warrants and will likely excercise them to add to the stock this year or next. The current yield on the stock is not bad resulting in 4.34% on the warrant cost plus $12 and, hopefully, the yield will continue to increase. Thanks!!

So far (thanks to you) I am sitting on a very handsome gain on the warrants ( I did liquidate around 3500 at 1.73 but still have a majority left). Long story short, it will pay for my subscription here well past my death. LOL
The timing one is tricky, I regret selling Africa Oil for a 50% gain (instead of a 400%!). Will keep an eye out for the date you mention.
Fortunately, ROIC is not a very volatile stock nor does it have a high correlation with the market.
If Sandstorm Gold picks back up, I will be your biggest fan!
Oh, and I am paying off my wifes student loans with ROIC for the record!

FYI, my little speculative buy did get triggered at the open — and thanks to the furor over the weekend the shares rose very rapidly after that. So now HRT Participa is in my personal portfolio for a little gamble as we wait to see whether the Namibian offshore drilling brings any good news over the next two months from their first hole.
Sweet. I am going to take a nibble if they go up slightly – you have a way of identifying stocks that I would never normally touch in far off lands that do well (ex: Africa Oil, and more recently, NagaCorp, which I sold for a 100% gain).
My investment of the week is likely to be to increase my stake in Tesla. It might become my ‘big bets’ stocks along with Sandstorm, Costco and Acadian (which I found here when you posted about it and it has been doing well). Would love to see you profile Acadian/Tesla some day.
