I’ve seen a lot of indications that the Keystone Pipeline will eventually be approved. What would be the best stocks to capitalize on this before it happens? Cheniere and Golar? Some tankers? Would love some suggestions.

Conrad’s Canadian Edge touts their report entitled “Keystone XL Windfall Bonanza: Stocks Set to Soar from Canada’s Black Gold Rush” as a come-on to subscribe. I have already been a subscriber to CE for nearly a month now, and have yet to find this ‘special report’ on their site. I even emailed them about this over a week ago and never received a reply. Do I have to re-join in order to get this report?? (sarcasm intended). I find CE to be useful to a degree, but doubt that I’ll extend my subscription beyond the 3-month introduction period. I’m very interested in Canadian energy and commodities companies, but I want a more comprehensive coverage of the total North American energy sector, and CE does not provide such. I also resent being constantly hustled to sign up for their other sector newsletters.

I just got Conrad’s ad for CE. Suncor fits the description of his first two teasers – pioneer in the tar sands, and in-situ oil extractor. I didn’t look into the third one on his list, but the fourth, the company so active in the Shaunavon, is Crescent Point Energy Corp. Elsewhere he is touting TransCanada Corp. Disclosure: I have a small position in the latter, TRP.
