New to investing and considering Sovereign Investor’s Sigma program versus Porter Stanberry’s Alpha. Do any readers have experience with or thoughts about them, alone or in comparison? Thank you.

Sigma gets its name from Sigmoid function devised in 1845, per recent touts. Commonly used as a model for stages of growth.
Funny you should ask about Stansberry. I’ve been doing some research about Porter Stansberry and everything I’ve read about him is BAD NEWS. In 2007 a federal judge determined Porter Stansberry defrauded his own subscribers in a securities scam.
U. S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis found judgement in favor of the Securities Exchange Commission and against Maryland-based Pirate Investor LLC, (now called Stansberry & Associates Investment Research LLC), and Frank Porter Stansberry. The judgement was issued at the U. S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
