Saw the symbol and decided to check it out because I have 68 years of un-medicated experience and one year of severe symptoms that Alderol doesn’t work to help. For those who don’t know, ADHD really is a lifetime disease which most people self medicate with booze, sex, food and risktaking. Also, it appears associated with excessive grief. I hope they succeed in their phase three trial and meanwhile I am up about 15% on the stock over the past week.

I see that modern medicine is catching up and finally recognizes that ADHD helps promote poor choices with people who are trying to raise their Dopamine levels so they can settle down and be productive.

Any thoughts from Travis, Doc Gumshoe or anybody else?

Thanks, Kimberley, The referenced article is quite good and balanced except for a reference to the trite 8 step program of self treatment for adults. I used to survive on Dopamine provided by my social conditions. When you get to be a retired Senior Citizen all that changes. Since I am mostly contented with being mentally ill, I would like a drug that allows me to focus on paying bills and taxes, keeping my house and yard clean finding my keys and the bag of perishable groceries I purchased yesterday for today’s meals. Also it would be nice if I only had to take it on those occasions in my life where paying attention to people and the demands of contemporary society make it mandatory. Sort of a Viagra for my brain only to be used when needed.

Since this company has stayed under the radar of the pump and dump groups and clinical partners are buying their stock, they may be onto something. According to their company description, ADHD is “a common and morbid neuropsychiatric condition in children and adults. Adult ADHD is associated with increased health risks and healthcare costs, higher divorce rates, lower levels of socioeconomic attainment, lower academic achievement, unemployment and work place deficits, increased risks for motor vehicle accidents, greater likelihood of additional psychiatric disorders, increased criminal activity and incarceration, and higher rates of substance use and abuse.” They forgot to mention the associations with obesity and perhaps chronic pain and suicide.

While I have avoided or controlled many of those outcomes, it would be nice if I could focus on or felt a need to pay bills and taxes on time and keep my house and yard clean and organized.

Of course in this forum, it would be be nice if I made money on the stock, which in this case is my “focused” objective.
