Travis – on April 4, 2013 I found an article you wrote about mortgage REITS and Marc Lichtenfeld’s prediction of the 3 minute powder keg – bond debacle…. NOW here we are almost 1 year later. I would be delighted to hear your present thoughts regarding Mtg REITs and if AGNC, NLY, CMO or the like are worth taking a look at as an investment. As a mortgage professional of 21yrs, I like the idea of a REIT as I believe real estate values will be rising over the next 3-5 years, but the mtg REIT – bond deal… I’m still on the fence. Your enlightment would be appreciated my friend.
