Thanks again for bringing Durata to our attention, Doc. And thanks again for reassuring me/encouraging me to increase my position last week. This is awesome and I think this is just the beginning.

Thank God for a green day finally!!!! And an aside to the Doc and all of you fellow gummybears…….. er gummybulls. I was so sick of losing 2-5% EVERY day. Day after day. It’s fu***ng depressing. It feels like spring has finally sprung, and I’m really not a total idiot. Thanks again all.

I made a Durata post on the weight loss thread–basically that things are quite interesting right now for DRTX as they are meeting with the healthcare specialist investment advisers Summer Street tomorrow morning. I think that this bodes well for DRTX–either working on a deal or working on strategies to market Dalvance themselves.

I have seen the Doc’s reply to someone about Regado.I don’t have the details right now. My response would be- I spent about half of my retirement account (miniscule for most, big for me) on Regado at 6 The reason i did is because, after I did my DD it became clear to me that this is a paradigm changing drug. I have litigated heparin/protamine cases, and I understand the difficulty of the coagulation/anti-coagulation synchronicity. So I put 20k of my hard earned, after tax, dollars on it at about 6. I’m losing money today. But I believe that if this stuff does as advertised, it will immediately become the standard of care. Anyone not using it will be sued into oblivion. And they should be. This stuff will save lives, and hospital time, if it works. So, The point is will it work? The Doc thinks it will. I trust the Doc. If it does it does, if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I will have no regrets, as I am a ramblin’ gamblin’ kind of guy. I examine the field, take my best shot, and then live with the outcome. Like QRXPY 😉

Samsung now aims to be the number one pharmaceutical company in the world–am I missing something here? They are apparently investing $2 Billion in biosimilars to get started. I knew that they wanted to out Apple Apple but now are they seriously trying to out Johnson JNJ?? This seems like over reach to me. Is there a cultural component going on with this that I am missing? Somehow I can’t imagine Apple expanding into pharmaceuticals and stating that they will soon be the number one pharmaceutical company in the world. The whole thing seems quite strange to me, but perhaps Samsung will have the last laugh.

dear dr KSS…only one question…why should one stay away from Pre -Biotics^

Larry #263. You couldn’t have said it better for my situation as well, including the F bomb – I am glad I kept my cool instead of selling and booking my losses. Looks like a good start for two days in a row!

To Jean: the instruction to avoid pre-biotics was to Diana because she is experiencing bloating, which fiber and cellulose will intensify.

I am not sure why the myth that fiber is vital and indispensable will not die. Fiber in my estimation causes misery quite disproportionate to any benefits.

Regado has a conference call this morning in 20 minutes. here is number 877-870-4263.
I will post the number on the other threads – hope the brainiac’s get this in time

Dr KSS, I just noticed that CTIX started a Phase 2 “Proof of Concept” trial for Brilacidin as a treatment for ulcerative proctitis, announced June 15, 2016. Does that mean that the Phase 2b trial you referred to in this article (27 months ago) did not go well? Has Brilacidin been approved for any use? Could you give us an update? Thx!
