Haven’t checked the details, but it’s a little silly — Sandstorm Metals has been a hard luck disaster and blown through a lot of equity in the years since Sandstorm Gold spun them out, but now bringing them back in just simplifies a couple of their cooperative deals — and really, it’s a survival move and probably a way to keep Metals’ key employees because Metals can’t raise money to grow and has no meaningful cash flow with which to grow yet. SAND will continue to be all about good prices, I expect.
Hi Travis & “All the others”,
Yesterday I’ve learned that the “Restructuring” of Colossus ist on the way, and that Sandstorm (I guess together?) will own a 40% stack of the “New Colossus”. If the Sierra Pelada project should ever go in production, then the upside potential for Sandstorm is incredibly large. Maybe this was one reason for the latest merger of sandstorm Gold and Sandstorm Metals, too.
Greetings Martin
Thanks Martin — it would be nice if Colossus works out eventually, but someone’s going to have to come in with a big slug of capital to make that happen.
Yes Travis, you are right, the man with the big suitcase full of money is not yet in sight, but I can’t imagine that all of the work which has been done in recent years should be “worthless”, I follow Colossus many years (drilling results, development, miissed promisses, dilution, and so on) but the property, for my understanding, is outstanding and therefore I’m confident that someone will bend over to grab the the chance.
Although I assume that you know the info here the link again to “Colossus & Sandstorm”:
