written by reader Market Authority’s Options Mentoring with Mike Parness

I responded to an email to work with a Broker to learn Options trading. I was contacted by a representative from Market Authority and was given the details: Approx. 20 people, 7 to 10 hours of work a week from doing homework and online sessions. Watching the broker do trades. You trade with a broker firm named Trade Station and can use for free their stock screener/filter program. All trade station trading is free no fees until you reach the cost of your tuition for the class. The broker is a Mike Parness a rags to riches story. There are 3 tuition’s available, 6 months for $3,495, 12 months for $5,495 and 18 months for $7,495. There is a 7 day trial period to see if it’s for you. They make clear you have to work at this class. The 3 class sessions teach the same info just at different speeds so you have longer to learn. I feel it’s better to learn with experienced pro rather then by myself reading books etc.
Can anyone help here with information about classes they may know about, this class. I have looked online and there isn’t anyone I found that doesn’t have some sort of bad review. The tuition seems on the low end for this level of involvement. So can anyone help here.
Thanks,
Gary D.

Before paying anyone to teach you a particular trading technique, which may or may not end up working for your situation, I’d suggest going through the basic options trading tutorials so you understand what “secret” folks are trying to sell to you. I like the ones from the CBOE here: http://www.cboe.com/learncenter/tutorials.aspx

I suggest you take a look at tastytrade.com and also their videos on YouTube.
