Uranium?Are Uranium mining companies a good buy right now?

Uranium stocks are NOT a good buy. All the articles hyping the uranium market seem to be almost religious “acts of faith” . With the after-effects of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the existence on the market of uranium from old weapons, closure of several USA nuclear plants, slow progress of very few new ones – all this accounts for the spot price now being less than half the price required to make new uranium mining viable.
Add to this the acceleration of cheaper forms of energy – gas, wind solar, biomass, and there is no reason to really expect any future for nuclear power other than a continuing decline.
