I too am looking for top MLP plays. I know very little of these companies and would like a list of the top MLP’s plays regardless of price. MLP’s have gotten beat up so this will be an opportunity. But the key for me is to get into the best MLP companies as opposed to just any old beat up MLPs.

Yes – I have a general comment about Rapier, who I almost shelled out $1499 to for his income accelerator – or income retirement program. he has so many programs I can’t keep them all straight!
The thing is, I was a professional on Wall Street for over 20 years and owned my own B?D for a while. In my 60’s now I am generally wise to all the ‘tease’ tricks out there – and do not get easily wrapped up in their promises. I read the marketing stuff for the income accelerator where he talks about generating 3, 4 and 5 times the dividend amount in a shorter timefram (much) than the annual holds for all dividends.

I have NEVER had a client complaint against me — which is rare for someone who has been successful in the business, especially when you are responsible for brokers who you supervise. In my 60’s now, when I was in the business something called ‘full disclosure’ was a rule you could not get around but today things are different! Before shelling out $1499 – alot of money for ANY retail program no matter how miraculous — I delved into Rapier deeper and found that he has built a career on ‘the tease’.

Specifically, I discovered that his ‘accelerated income’ program was accomplished 100% with options — writing calls. This strategy has been called an income strategy hundreds of times but what I felt was COMPLETELY disingenuous was his multi-paged marketing RAVING on and on about his success in this area, presenting others who claimed to be rich today due to it — and all that snapped me back to reality.

“If it sounds too good to be true – it is”. I could distill over 20 years in the business down to that one rule when it comes to NOT LETTING YOURSELF GET SUCKED INTO YET ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION! For writing calls and income – there are 100 sources I guarantee you would be better for call writing strategies than a guy I have only seen with tease lines out there stating with energy stocks and bonds and MORE RECENTLY, just about everything under the sun.

If anyone can point to a specific track record in any arena that is worth trumpeting about — please, have at it. Until you make damn sure you are not just another lemming, proceed with a on of caution. Anybody who teases then touts programs and ignores the “full disclosure rules” while doing so, is someone to keep a healthy distance from and folks — as smart as I think I am and as well as I have done myself over time — I have learned my best lessons the hard way – trust me! Hopefully, you won’t have to learn that way!
