Hi Travis!
Firstly, thank you so much for your efforts.
They have saved me a lot of money.
I am very new to investing and am sucker for get rich quick schemes.
Your site has really helped me stay away from the get rich quick people and provided more info as to why’s and how’s of these scams as well as pointing me in better directions.
For that I cannot thank you enough.
I have a fellow get rich quicker friend that bought a stock years ago and I am concerned it is going to go no where while he keeps purchasing it as it goes down!
I want to know whether he should abandon it or just hold and hope! I will get burned myself but only a few bucks, he has been enamored by a sales guy that keeps telling him it is all good. The more I read the more I am not so sure. Also, how the heck does a stock that does nothing linger for so long? Oh ya, before I forget, the stock!

I would really appreciate your analysis on this. I want to talk to my buddy without pissing him off, so any rational, factual arguments that a lay person would understand would be great! I just want him to get out now before it is to late or at least hold for the foreseeable future if there is any remote hope.
I understand it will only be your opinion, I will not accept it as the gospel, I just want to get a better understanding of this stock.
Whew! Sorry for such a long message! If you made it this far, thanks a lot for your attention in this matter!

Hi, thanks for reading! I don’t know anything about the business, so it may be that they really have a unique and fabulous technology that I can’t teach myself about in fifteen minutes — but the financials look really uninteresting. Revenues have recently been declining, gross margin is good, but they’ve spent many years losing money and nothing jumps out on in a positive way to catch my attention.

From scanning the numbers, they’ve been roughly this size (in terms of revenue and operating expenses) for about five years, so if I were to get interested in a stock like this it would have to be because there’s an overwhelmingly compelling growth story and a catalyst — a reason why the company’s metrics should change dramatically in the quarters or years ahead, whether it’s dramatic revenue growth from new contracts or new products or whatever. Just trucking along at this pace, or growing revenues by even 20% a year, is not good enough for a tiny company with many years of mediocre financials, this is one where I’d need a story that really rang true and portended big changes in the near future. That would mean “the technology is just better” is not a good enough reason, it has to be “Verizon and Rogers are testing the technology and revenue will quadruple next year if we’re right about them wanting to sign a large contract for XX services” (Just making that up, I don’t know what the company sells or who their customers are — I really just looked at their historical financials).
