Zenosense is in Spain, and has only a tiny, hard-to-find website. The idea of pathological processes afforded volatile chemical signatures is not in any way knew, and many firms and universities are pursuing methods. If a patient has a +MRSA “sniff test” by Zeno’s device but no signs of infection, treatment will not change. If there are signs of infection, antibiotics that cover MRSA (if it’s an inpatient) will be given anyway. If a patient is coughing up blood, that patient needs a chest CT. If the breath test for lung cancer is positive, they need a CT. If any lesion is seen, it needs to be subjected to biopsy. What I am saying is that I see no way Zeno’s devices will change mgmt. It will make them niftier, but healthcare is pretty much anti-nifty right now.
