He has been talking about Columbia recently. Maybe he has some stock ideas instead of just real estate development. I wish I had the money for a second home there but I am not quite in that bracket yet. Maybe an index fund? I am curious as to what others think. Thanks!
With the comment “It has a young population of nearly 80 million people, and they’re highly educated. ” Colombia can not be a match with it’s population of 48 million..
Because of 30th June it got me thinking of Iran and the nuclear negotiations and possibility of lifting sanctions. Iran has a population of 78 million (2013)
They surely have “The country holds multiple large-scale, easy-to-develop deposits of natural resources, some of the world’s biggest and juiciest”
“For decades, global companies have stayed away. Now they smell the money and have been scrambling to this country to line up business.”
This is also a match for Iran.
I’m pretty sure he’s talking about Iran, but please let me know if I’ve missed something or you have other suggestions..
The question would still be though, how to invest and which companies are set for the best gains without immense risk..?
Argyros I think you are right on the money! Comparing it’s Geopolitical stance to China “In 1990, most investors wouldn’t touch China. Some would get upset at the mere mention of the country’s name… the Communist People’s Republic of China. Red China” and the BIG giveaway “There’s a catalyst happening June 30 that could set this whole thing off” the UMPTEENTH (I like to say no longer deadlines mere “Guidelines”) imposed deadline for the Iran/P5+1 nuclear negotiations. My hands down vote, IRAN.
Population, deadline, …. Every word matches with Iran , except even they know Americans can’t invest in Iran so the closest they can possibly come is to recommend an area play that trades closely with it and had interests there — lame , this time they are way too early IMO
