What is David’s latest recommendation Travis?
Thanks!

I’ve filled out everything requested but still have not gotten any results regarding my question. Is this how this site always works?
We do not track every recommendation of every newsletter — we review the ads to see what investments they’re hinting at. I haven’t seen the ad you reference, does it provide any hint or “tease” about what the stock is, other than “David Gardner re-recommends?”
If there are clues, I often write about them. If there are not, you might find that another reader has an idea of what the stock might be.
And no, I do not solve every riddle or name every stock pitched by a newsletter — I usually write 200-300 articles a year identifying “secret” teaser stocks that are used in newsletter ads, and many of those are in response to reader questions, but there are always some I don’t get around to.
I haven’t seen a single thing from you on discussion boards. What exactly are you looking for bree moseman
It is ILMN that David thinks is worth doubling down on.
Whats your source Annette ???
At just 767 times 2019 estimated earnings, ILMN is a steal.
2019’s earnings are nearly double last year’s (2015) earnings.

seemingly couldn’t pay insiders to hold on to their shares.” 1/21/15 http://www.stockgumshoe.com/2015/01/the-2015-stock-gumshoe-biotechnology-awards-show/#comment-4092912
Be careful what you wish for, and don’t wish for IMGN shares in your portfolio. a company premised on a straw man 12/19/14
Thanks Annette for being a team player.
Sierra Wireless. SWIR is the double down stock.. about to get back to 45 on securing over 1 billion in new design wins which start in Q2 16, SWIR guidance suggests
“Record Revenue” in Q2- Q4 2016 and significant Increase in Revenue going forward.
They report on May 5th and have guided a flat Q-1.
On September 5th, Motley Fool compared Sierra Wireless with Nividia and determined Nividia to be the better buy.
The site referred to by the Motley Fool double down is: http://www.fool.com/ext-content/motley-fool-issues-rare-double-down-stock-alert/368/?psource=esatab7410860238&utm_campaign=doubledown&campaign=sa-release&utm_term=msn-msn-home&paid=8811&waid=8811&utm_medium=contentmarketing&utm_source=taboola&wsource=esatabwdg0860267&cellId=0&testId=sa-double-down
Hey Bree, I’m in your court. The Motley Fool ads are everywhere. I hate these kind of come-ons. I’d also like to know this latest recommendation.
Here’s one claim and the ad site: “Motley Fool Issues Rare “Double Down” Stock Alert… Past “double downs” have averaged remarkable 598% returns…” https://us-mg6.mail.yahoo.com/neo/b/message?sMid=2&fid=Trash&sort=date&order=down&startMid=0&filterBy=&ac=M1jsHoWU6o_NZYV6BbPtw8r1xUM-&.rand=1892930494&midIndex=2&mid=2_0_0_4_55956_AMXmjkQAADcQVvpvpwii8PIxPy8&fromId=

Sorry, they don’t drop even a single hint as to which company Gardner might be re-recommending in those ads — he does do those “Double Downs” with some frequency, a lot of his most famous past recommendations have been re-recommended several times over the years, but without any hints the Thinkolator isn’t much good at identifying the stock.

I’m doubling down on OGRMF ! What do you guys think ?
Love OGRMF. TRTC may be even better. Diversified in the MJ, and MMJ arena. Lots of greenhouses ready to convert to recreational or medical marijuana. Super lettuce that could be in high demand worldwide. Lots to like and led by one of the guys you can trust, Derek Peterson. Too many involved in the ‘green rush’ were scammers. Not Derek. Check the history and the facts.
The Gardner double down is ilmm illumina, the San Diego based genetic sequencing giant. ilmm has just created Grail, a new start-up of which they own 50%, that seeks to detect cancer from liquid biopsies. They tapped former Jeff Huber, a Google executive, to be the CEO. Jeff Bezos & Bill Gates also own a significant part of this private company. If GRAIL is successful and are able to detect the DNA from stage 1 Cancer revenues can be expected to be $200 billion a year. If their biopsies can detect Stage 2 Cancer revenues can be expected to be $20 billion a year. Illumina also has created Helix in partnership with Warburg Pincus & John Hopkins that will offer consumer driven diagnostic better than 23&me. Incidentally illumina owns a percentage of 23&me a privately held company started by Google founders ex-wife Ann Wojecki. Illumina is an octopus in the biotech industry. The smart money in Silicon Valley, and Wall Street see illumina becoming “The most Important Company in the History of Medicine.” This company should easily double or triple in value within the next 18-24 months. If GRAIL’s biopsy business gets through the FDA, expect the company to grow 10 fold. GRAIL is not Theranos, it has the killer app.

Is this ILMN that collapsed 4/19 and lost nearly a quarter of is stock price?
ILMN is probably a good long-term hold at this point, as it dropped 24%. Motley Fool is NOT good at timing, I have noticed, so long term is their forte. Good points made by Mike K.
Glad I didn’t buy back on the 18th when the made the recommendation.
Just like other Motley Fool recommendations that I have purchased, this one is currently down 23%.
Bet your happy now, huh?
Stock got crushed beyond belief today
23% down. Great recommendation, DAVE
It should be OGRMF it’s taking off ! Canada plans on legalizing pot by spring 2017
Yea it seems that when the big dogs got into this stock it was already fairly cheap and right now it has already gone up quite a bit. I will be watching for it to dip back down then purchasing a bit since it’s still.pretty high even a couple days later. Most likely until they hit the ” holy grail” I am sure plenty of people will get disenfranchised and there will be plenty of opportunities to buy at a reasonable price.
If you buy a stock after the article comes out, you’re usually way too late. They slam the stock waaaay before they start doing advertisement articles for it; then sell as you buy… rinse and repeat.
