Is uranium finally actually ready to pop?

By maddogdne, June 2, 2016

Kent Moors threw out a new tease today [at least this was the first time that I saw it] for uranium. Travis had a very illuminating review of uranium last year [which may have been catalyzed by the last time Moors teased uranium]. The current tease is of course overflowing with hype, but some of the fundamentals seem to have changed even a bit more favorably than last year’s tease, if Moors is citing reliable data. Anyone here [especially Travis!] have any insight into how we might obtain a reality check on Moors’ numbers? The last time I bought UEC and actually enjoyed a near double, but I was just lucky, and the price fell back down to where it had been shortly thereafter. Do we have any uranium hounds among us?

Best I can tell, the Canadian govt increased the amount of uranium miners can output. Other than that, I have no further information. The numbers seem to make sense though if, in fact, 50-plus new reactors are being built worldwide and supposedly come online by 2024. It’s all about supply and demand. If you like the nuclear energy scene and think the demand for uranium will increase now is the time to go long.

I am pretty sure they are talking about Fission Uranium(FCUUF) but im not willing to pay the $1500 to find out. Also, check out Fission’s spin-off Fission 3.0(FISOF) which supposedly has a claim in Athabascan basin rich in uranium. Rumor has it that the Chinese might buy Fission 3.0 outright to fuel they’re nuke plant they are supposedly building.

Funny, I sold my Uranium stock (UEC) yesterday. Reasoning – Fort Calhoun, Clinton, and Quad cities plants being closed. Small nuke plants not competitive.
Vice episode on HBO: http://www.hbo.com/vice/episodes/04/45-the-future-of-energy/index.html
Indicates the use of old weapons and spent fuel will keep Uranium prices down for a long time. I expect UEC to go bankrupt before Uranium prices rise. Wind, solar are the now, Fusion, and black hole energies are the future.

I was looking at UR-ENERGY just yesterday. So what’s the news with this company and the uranium market overall?
