From two separate publications and at different times(within last month or so), I read the following: An American Navy vessel in the Gulf was being asked to pay for fuel in silver? Dollars not accepted. Then I read another blurb recently that another Arab state wanted to be paid in gold(gold valued at $5,000.00 per oz.) Anyone hea/read anything remotely sounding like this?
Gold is presently around $3,675.00 away from $5,000.00
