When you subscribe to the Daily Alerts by submitting your email address, your e-mail will be stored in a database and used to send your email alerts/newsletters and occasional advertisements or special notices.

Stock Gumshoe will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your e-mail address with anyone.

The email service used by StockGumshoe.com is Constant Contact, and they have strict anti-spam policies and a very good privacy policy (you can see their policy, which Stock Gumshoe is bound by, here).

Your subscription to the Stock Gumshoe Daily Alert will only be activated once you have confirmed it — that means you must click the link provided in the confirmation email that you will receive shortly after signing up.

You do not need to be an email subscriber in order to access either the free site or the paid site, and you can refuse all email communication if you wish (since there are two email systems, one for paid Irregulars members and one for free alert subscribers, you may have to click the “unsubscribe” link in emails from both services).

You can remove your address from the e-mailing list by following the instructions in every e-mail we send. Look for the link that says “unsubscribe” and your request will be automatically and quickly processed.

If you choose to contribute to Stock Gumshoe or to become a paid member (the Stock Gumshoe Irregulars), a separate database will keep track of your payments, your name, and your email address, and your username and password. Credit card or other banking information is not kept by Stock Gumshoe’s databases or servers, all sensitive financial information is held only by the secure servers at our payment processing company (currently, Paypal does all of our credit card and electronic processing).

Any e-mail you send to Stock Gumshoe is considered confidential unless you tell me otherwise. I will not add your name or address, or any others, to the e-mail list without your permission, and you may remove your name from the list at any time.
