Lebed had SEED at the top of his list….


Origin Agritech Limited (SEED) was the biggest percentage gainer on the NASDAQ today and hit a new 52-week high of $10.58 up 454% since I announced it as my stock-to-watch with a speculative rating of 2, my second highest level of confidence, on December 7th at $1.91! SEED traded record volume of over 44.1 million shares!
 
Agria Corporation (GRO) hit a new 52-week high today of $4.53 up 175% since I announced it as my stock-to-watch with a speculative rating of 1, my highest level of confidence, on May 18th at $1.65!
 
Wind Works Power Corp (WWPW), which I announced on November 12th at $0.94 as my new huge wind energy pick, finished today at $1.21 and hit a high earlier in the day of $1.23 on strong volume of 691,228!
 
DGP, the double-long gold ETN, hit a new 52-week high today of $30.66 up 141% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $12.70!
 
I started telling you in May of 2008 that you should put 75% of your portfolio into DGP and I am guessing that DGP has outperformed over 95% of all stocks since then!
 
iShares Silver Trust (SLV) hit a new 52-week high today of $18.61 up 93% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $9.62!
 
Silver Wheaton Corp (SLW) hit a new 52-week high today of $16.72 up 352% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $3.70!
 
Hecla Mining (HL) hit a new 52-week high today of $6.77 up 183% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $2.39!
 
Yamana Gold (AUY) hit a new 52-week high today of $13.90 up 198% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $4.66!
 
Newmont Mining (NEM) hit a high today of $54.87 up 109% since I announced it as one of my top 10 picks for the next 4 years on November 3rd, 2008, at $26.30!

Yesterday, there was 775X the usual volume on SEED. THat would have given an indication of today's breakout.

Way worse than that–I didn't own it to begin with! And then I decided not to buy at 9-something because chasing stocks is a no-no. Sometimes we should chase, but only in hindsight. Frown

Origin Agritech hits 2-year high on seed approval

…On Nov. 21, Origin said the Chinese government issued a final approval for its genetically modified corn seeds.

The China-based hybrid seed developer said then it received a Bio-safety Certificate from the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, paving the way for commercial introduction of its "phytase corn," which it says will help animal food producers cut down on feed costs…

Origin Agritech is up today because the company announced the completion of it's notes repurchase agreement with Citadel Equity Fund and stated…

"Origin has never been in a stronger position strategically, technologically, and, most appropriately, financially, in this situation. We are repurchasing our notes based on this strength. Our current cash receipts from this FY 2010 selling season are again the highest in our history, and this should continue to be evident in the first quarters on our balance sheet. We repaid our debt to eliminate any possible dilution and demonstrate our upcoming confidence in the near term future."  

(SEED still hasn't reported earnings!)

SEED up 19% today…now 14.50. Smile  There was a big buy by Fidelity (bringing Fidelity's ownership stake to 13%).

I got in at 2.12 last December, and over the weekend decided it was time to cash in, then saw it was up overnight so waited. Then from 3 to 4pm it shot up 19%. Definitely a stock that keeps the adrenaline pumping!

Farley would be proud.

Intel(INTC) reported good earnings. If ARMH, doesn't jump up in response, I think it's worth a gander. Also, much of the rest of the tech sector has been lolly-gagging around and Intel might get it moving.
