I subscribe to several KCI newsletters and have followed Roger Conrad and invested in his recommendations for about 6 or 7 years. The KCI hype has gotten worse over the last 2 or 3 years, but their picks do pretty well, according to the portfolio tracking they provide. Big Yield Hunting is $5 per month, so does cost $60 per year, but so far one would have no trouble covering that cost by investing just $600 in one recommendation, since the yield is always at least 10%. Of the 8 recs given so far, at this moment only the most recent 2 are down, just over 1% and 2%, respectively. The other 6 are up between 1% and 19% (1.12, 5.20, 6.07, 16.38, 16.52, 19.38), and that doesn’t count the dividends. My percentage calculations are approximate because I don’t know exactly what price is used for their tracking purposes, but you get the gist. I have invested in 7 of the 8, only because I missed buying the 8th before it went way over their suggested upper limit. My percentages are lower because they include commissions, but range from from down 2.68% and 1.8% to up 3.05, 5.74, 10.78 and over 30% (because I had already owned it for several years and bought more when everything was way down in 2009). I am a believer but freely admit that not every pick is a clear winner. The beauty of BYH is that you get paid to hold.
I subscribed to “Big Yield Hunting” earlier this year. I only received one or two communications from you and then it stopped. I recently moved to Lakeland, Fl. and perhaps you stopped sending me investing information then. My e-mail address has not changed and I would very much like to continue receiving my Big Yield Hunting investment information for which I am paying the monthly $5.00 cost of subscription.
Thanks for listening,
Chuck Palmer
