Anybody here follow ECYT ?
A little company that got a Billion Dollar deal in April 2012 with MRK, MRK already paid a $120 Million upfront milestone payment.
The company is virtually debt free, and now with the 120 Million from MRK has 237 Million in cash.

Really enjoying what you are doing at Stockgumshoe. Good idea indeed. As for Casey Extraordinary Tech, what I can say is that I subscribe to the Energy Report, Casey Report and International Speculator and do not doubt for a second that Extraordinary Tech is worth it’s weight in gold. This entire research service is in fact just that, a research service that educates like no other newsletter. So if you don’t like learning and expect a newsletter to hand hold you with winning picks all the time, forget it. This service educates and even allows you to do your own due diligence. I have turned $4500.00 into 30K in less than 15 months. I have lost a few but very few. Hence, I would suspect Extraordinary tech would provide the same excellent service and diligent picks. Keep up the good work.

This being a hybrid alert/monthly newsletter it does offer quite a few picks at any one time though I find most of the buy level guidance a little vague. No problem though I just DMOR when it comes to pulling the trigger on any pick. I find the alerts to be generally very timely and I like the approach they have to stock picking(being a bit more value/contrarian oriented like other Casey publications). Each monthly newsletter comes with a wealth of information and I believe this service to be very proficient at identifying major trends early and profiting from them. Overall I am very pleased with this newsletter and the bundled Big Tech and the passion for technology that each issue exudes. I would recommend this service to anyone interested in higher risk Tech plays…..

Don’t waste your money with any of the Casey publications.
Doug Casey is a fun read, but most of their recommendations stink

Terrible newsletter. But what’s worse is that when Casey Research stopped this newsletter, rather than giving the readers a pro-rated rebate for the remaining issues, instead Casey Research gave the readers some newsletter called the Palm Beach Adviser. This is what happened to me and when I called Casey Research they simply said that they had e-mailed to tell of the switch. Since I had no interest in the Palm Beach publication they then informed me to take it or leave it. I find very unethical and I would advise any and all who follow Doug Casey, Chris Wood or Alex Daley to consider dropping them completely. There are enough good advisers without wasting your time and money on Casey research. They not only lack integrity, but have a poor track record. But of course that is only my opinion.
