Easy Money Options- Agora-$49 year-Wayne Burritt

Service for buying options, he offers buy price and when to sell and commentary, midweek updates. Pretty good for 49 bucks a year. Portfolio is available on website.

Picks have bee so-so, he doesnt over trade, some weeks there are no rec’s, usually one or two picks per month. SInce 8/08 he has had 12 rec’s, 4 winners, 8 losers so if you took all the picks you would be losing money here. The last 4 picks have been big losers. I havent bought any of his picks, so havent made or lost any money through this service as yet.

I didnt cancel as its only 49 bucks for the year and it provides nice commentary and a few ideas, but I will not renew the service.

Rating is poor due what others have said about getting into the trade. I have found that all the option newsletters are the same way. The newsletter controls the market for that strike. If you want to use these news letter you have to be educated about options and use a different strike strategy. I still get the newsletter because I am a lifetime member of a group which it is one, but I don’t trade it anymore.

In a word…don’t waste your $. It’s one of the worst if not the worst investment newsletter I’ve ever subscribed to in every way.

I subscribed since it was cheap, but of the few options I traded I think I lost on all of them. He sure comes across upbeat and positive, personable, and even acknowledges our losses, but like a good used car dealer follows it with “have I got some great trades for you in the pipeline” — or something along that line. I’d keep your $49 and buy a gram or two of gold instead.

He is a good teacher, but with the losing recommendations, I began to also suspect his wisdom!

I subscribed recently to this newsletter because I strongly believe that options trading is an exponentially better way to trade. After being out of the market far several years, I wanted some real professional advice on some picks.
As others have said, the picks are “pathetic” on their track record. It is right there in full sight in his “model portfolio”- how ridiculous is that- 8 mostly big-time losers, with only 4 winners, with only one or two good gainers, on options some have never heard of.
I e-mailed them and asked about the poor track record, and got no response. I probably will cancel. If anyone knows of another options newsletter that has a better record, please share it.

Sure is a lot of hype. 1,000% gains in just 8 days. I subscribed, have received just 1 reco in 2 months, and have LOST 40% so far. I’ll give them one more try before cancelling. Throw a drt at the financial page. You’ll probably have better luck.

Perhaps the worst of several dozen advisories I’ve subscribed to. In many cases the calls couldn’t have been worse – such as buying puts while the markets were collpasing at the bottom or holding nearly profitable calls during the last month while the market sold off thus the calls becoming worthless.

I gave it a high score for consistency since it is consistently poor. Also a medium score for value since it is cheap and you might learn something despite the amateurish commentary and occasional contradictions. Plus losing teaches you a lot, and you’ll lose often if playing these picks. It can also have value as a contraian indicator.

I have recently subscribed to Mr. Burritt’s offering. Being a new investor I am very dissapointed in the input from him more often. I feel abandoned since the market is not performing as his hype suggested. I would like to see much more from him.

I’ve subscribed to this service in late 09. It was very cheap and I liked also that recommended options were inexpensive. I followed all recos with some modifications at times and to my surprise I had 100% success rate! Not only I’ve made big profits (sometimes multipliers) but I’ve continued making profits buying calles on the same stocks he recommended over and over again after selling original calls. Unfortunatelly it didn’t last long. Very soon the whole service was closed for never explained reason. They gave me free subscr. for Option Hotline for remaining of the year. I was glad first because that service costs $500 a year. After having it for a few months I’m not so glad anymore. I just keep loosing money with Mr. Sarnoff.
