Kent Moors is teasing among other things, California’s Monterey Shale as a newly accessable source of oil, sopposidly using “Managed Pressure Drilling” and a “California Coctail” of acidizing drilling fluids to dramatically increase the amount of oil extracted from this formation. He claims to know of at least two companies ready to benifit from this “breakthrough” now. One with 10 billion barrels ready for extraction and annother holding 1.2 million acres of presumably lease “Monterey” land. Is this for real? If so, what companies is he talking about?
    Thank you.

    Dear Travis:
Taipan is teasing there “Hedge Fund Strategist” by Sandy Franks. They say that a tiny company that the U S has given a vertual monopoly to is going to do very well because a controversial law put in place this year by the government vertualy eliminates their major compitition. What company are they teasing? And are they in as good a position as all that? Thank you.
