GOLDNEWSLETTER – by Brien Lundin – Published by Jefferson Direct.

A well-written newsletter focusing on undervalued resource and mining stocks. Affordable price. A lot of picks in the porfolio.

I subscribed to this newsletter for many years and found the investment advice to be excellent. However, their customer service was not. After changing to the electronic version, the delivery was not made. Customer service would not give me the password to get the current issue, and did not send the hard copy. They did not seem to comprehend that getting the newsletter several months late or not at all was poor service. Customer service might have improved since, but then again it might not have. I don’t know because I cancelled the subscription and have never renewed.

I have subscribed to this newsletter since 1990’s when it was still written by Mr Blanchard. One good point is that this is not very overpriced (like I think the International Speculator is). Main use for me is to find out which companies might not be just scams in the junior mining sector. The basic view in the newsletter is to be almost always positive about the gold price. Mr Lundin’s writing style is OK.
