INVESTMENT HOUSE: http://www.investmenthouse2.com
A “free” email with news alerts and stock picks. I received a “Gold Stock Investor: Action Alert” today. In the small print at the bottom it mentioned that the company being extolled actually paid $150,000 for the “distribution of this alert.” The alert claims that the Osisko Mining Corporation (OTC: OSKFF) “Holds a 100% interest in the Canadian Malartic gold deposit in Quebec.” I did a web search and found information which contradicts that claim. Here is the text of my email request for clarification:
“I subscribe to your email srevice and read with interest the article today about Osisko Mining Company (OTC: OSKFF). Sounds good, but I have a question. I checked on PR-USA.NET website and read a report dated yesterday that NioGold Mining Company has a 60-80% option agreement with Atlanta Gold for Block H (18 mining claims 780 Hectares) in the Malartic shelf. Thus, the claim that Osisko has “100%” of the Malartic shelf” seems to contradict the news report by PR-USA.”
I have not yet received a response from Investment House.
Having subscribed to many professional newsletters over the years I can state that InvestmentHouse.com is the lowest performing and poorest supported investment service I’ve run across.
Been receiving the free newsletter for years – not a bad read. Some of their picks are fairly good – which they declare after the fact while looking in the rear view mirror. They ignore the losers, though.
However – they post recommendations with specific targets, stops, strikes and whether a put/call. I find that when they are off – it is usually due to timing – in other words, they are a bit early in the recommendation.
So they are useful to construct a watch list.
Just review it in accordance to your own stock analysis and trading plan and paper trade to see what you think.
I find it to be a worthwhile weekly read.
Best of all – it’s free.
MWSmith Investing House Pro is one of the best newsletter advisory I have ever bought. Recommendations when to get in, targets to get out have been outstanding .includes stop loss suggestions. Timely option recommendations relating to all budgets.
