I started with this service in early 2007 and made a lot of money right off the bat (who wouldn’t like making $4,000 on a trade within just a few weeks). I did that a few times BUT then the market crashed and so did the advice. The record went from 2 out of 3 wins to 2 out of 3 losses. That hurt! I got my money back but they do spam you with constant emails.

I still like the Peak Oil theory but the service does seem to be wrong most of the time these days.

Not sure if he does on purpose

Most of the recommendations did not work out. Advertising seemed misleading and results not accurate. Not worth the cost of subscription.

I never made any money in any market til now. He is a genius and worth every penny of the investment for his time. He is a blessing for us. We may yet have a plan to retire on. Wouldn’t surprise me if Buffett follows his advice.

I cancelled all/any services I had from Leeb. When I cancelled, I considered using the refund to purchase a different subscription. I asked for their track record for the various subscriptions, WHICH THEY FURNISHED. Howecer, NONE of the services had a good record, so I got a cash refund. They dragged out the time to refund for about a month, but they did refund. If you’re considering any subscription, ask them for the track record of their recommendations and make your own decision.

So overall, I had several losing recommendations and wasn’t impressed. With all that said, today I find myself still holding one stock recommended by Leeb in the Aggressive Trader service. It’s IVN and I’ve held it since late July 2009 (today is 8 Dec 2010). It looks like it will soon be a four-bagger, going from $7.72 to a high of $30 yesterday. However, it really is the blind squirrel adage.

I am a slow learner. In the past I have subscribed to 2 different option trading advisors both of which I lost significant amounts of money. This time I thought Leeb’s Agressive Trader might be different so I subscribed on 3/17/11 for a quarter @ $174 with automatic renewal. So, I have struck out for the third and final time trading options. During this quarter I made 15 trades and lost $7,582.21. I had 7 winning trades and 8 losing trades. However, the winning trades were small whereas the losing trades were large. Had I bought puts instead of calls and calls instead of puts then I would have made lots of money. During this period puts lost when the stock went up and calls lost when the stock went down. Just the opposite of what you should be doing.

Perhaps you might come out a winner if you remain captive to your computer during trading hours because the Aggressive Trader trades a lot. This is their strategy making lots of short term trades with the prospect of small gains. If you do this for fun and excitement, then it is OK. In the end when you look at the time that you have spent, it is not effective management of your time unless you do not have much going for you otherwise.

I joined this service in September, 2016 and did not receive any recommendations for the initial 3 weeks. They said that the conditions were not favorable for issuing any positions. OK. The next few weeks, they provided three recommendations. Within 30 minutes of reading their email, the ‘buy less than’ dollar amount would be exceeded and I would not meet the entry point. On one of the choices, it was significantly past the entry price–just a few minutes after receiving the email. Anyway, I sent an email to cancel the subscription and return the $695 on November 3rd. I received an acknowledgement saying they received my cancellation and would send it to ‘corporate’ for processing and it would take a couple weeks. After three weeks, I sent another email requesting a status update. The response was that it was at corporate and they did not have a way of checking the status. I phoned them and was told the same and also told I could not contact ‘corporate’ directly–they would have to do it for me. As of January 10, 2017, I have sent 5 emails and phoned them 3 times and always get the same response–it is in corporate and they send the refunds out in the order they are received and to be patient. So, it took about 30 seconds for them to accept my membership fee and it has been over two months and I still have not received a refund. I would avoid dealing with this group.
