The Market Oracle Newsletter
by Nadeem Walayat

This is a free newsletter which can be subscribed for at http://www.marketoracle.info/?p=subscribe&id=1

The newsletter is sometimes a list of links to articles which have featured at the main site, The Market Oracle, and on these occasions it is of passing interest but no more than that.

Where the newsletter scores for me is when it consists of a forecast for the UK financial markets by Nadeem Walayat. I have been following him for nearly a year and the accuracy of his forecasts has been breathtaking. I made some money this year by taking my cues from him and I expect to make more in the future.

His newsletter may not be of great interest to investors who focus on other markets, but for the UK-based investor, or investor who play the London market, his forecasts are well worth having.

His grammar and syntax are tortured and his proof reading is non-existant. A Walayat newsletter is nothing like a Mauldin or a Weiss document. But if you rate content above presentation and you follow the UK I don’t think you can afford to be without it. And it’s free.

Nadeem Walayat’s accuracy in his forecasts are frighteningly good. I’ve made money and saved money from reading his free newsletter. Whatever other newsletter I am subscribed to at the time takes second place to Mr. Walayat’s recommendations. In the time I’ve been reading him, bit over a year, he has never been wrong. His letters are all free – very cool…

As a student of newsletters, the Market Oracle is free and actually more accurate than 99% of the tout newsletters charging up to $1000/year….this includes industry founders like Dines, Granville, Prechter, Sullivan, Aden sisters, etc on up to the present day vast herd of pop financial gurus. Dines runs a pump-n-dump operation, Prechter has predicted the last 5 out of 0 depressions with his Idiot Wave and FibberNuttie numbers, Granville an overt grifter, etc. Walayat totally debunks the deflationist fraud, and is almost oracle like in his accurate predictions. I believe his family is of Pakistani extraction, so he has a jaundiced eye for the hypocrisy of the west, especially the USSA and the Brits. This is good as his background makes for scepticism and careful analysis. He is one of the few to actually predict the 2007/2008 collapse and then the subsequent doubling of the S&P. Am not sure what his methodology is, but who cares? It could be a ouija board for all I care as long as he gets it right….which he does most the time. His constant skewering of the deflationistas is alone worth the read, and will save you money and pain in both the long and short run. Subscribe today! Walayat’s eerily accurate views are worth more than 99% of the internet touts…and it is FREE!

Been watching this one for over 12 months – accurate & consistent as far as it goes however he can be very long winded & his use of the English language is atrocious!

I have been reading the Market Oracle for the last two years. The predictions he has made have been right on the money. I don’t know how he does it but is suspect that he has a working crystal ball. To top it off its free!! Call me Dave should make him Chancellor, he would be the first one in a hundred years who actually knows what he is doing.

I want to say that Nadeem Walayat’s timing letter in context of one of two other more specific stock/ etf naming newsletters I know of are among the most valuable. I have come across this combo of newsletter reading including this website over years. But what I want to say is that a package of Walayat’s Elliot Wave interpretations timing, your stockgumshoe.com and in context of Spearfinance.com (not yet posted here) are best bets one can make in the newsletter area.

To that end I want to add Gregory Spear’s Spearfinance.com website and his various newsletters. The basic Spear Report takes account of many of the top newsletters as rated / ranked by Mark Hulbert. But Gregory Spear and his team go beyond that by technically breaking down and analyzing specific stocks OR etfs OR high value trades(depending upon which newsletter you opt for).

Further more, with the mnost basic Spearfinance newsletter (if I am still up to date on it) you get a webinar interactive forum each week included where you can ask guestions on specific trading or stocks and in most cases they do a brilliant succinct analysis for the subscriber. I know this because I have asked and then seen the Greegory Spear analysis unfold accurately but of course I always submitted stocks I learned of here or on Spear’s lists or on Leeb’s Cash cow (see my review for Leeb’s cash cow to follow).

Also, one can go into the lists of the stocks within Spear’s database of the Hulbert top reviewed newsletters. But it is safer to stay with the ones Spear is highlighting in most cases from my hsitory with it.

I give 5 starts out of 5 for Nadeem’s analyses that have always been accurate and a lot better than most “gurus” who all too often get it wrong when, in my books, Nadeem is always correct.
