I subscribe to Motley Fool Performance (an independent service unrelated to Motley Fool) and it rates the Hidden Gems as the lowest of the Motley Fool’s 6 services. The best service by far is David Garner track record. If you followed his recommendations on the Motley Fool Stock Advisor Newsletter since inception you would have beat the S&P by a amazing 320% and would be up in absolute terms 400%. On the other hand, Hidden Gems has beat the S&P by only 2%. Beating the S&P alone puts all of these services ahead of its competition.

I subscribe to the Fools and have only bought one of 8 recommendations which are already at their max prices. Too early to tell if my purchase is right or not.

Their suggestion it to hold their recommendations for 3-5 years. For me, that is forever.
